Needlepoint
A whole side of the shop is given to needlepoint — hand-painted canvases, the threads to work them, and someone to ask when a canvas has you stuck.
Canvases
Hand-painted canvases in a range of mesh counts — ornaments and small pieces you can finish in a season, and larger canvases worth taking your time over.
Threads & fibers
Silks, wools, cottons and specialty fibers. We'll help pull a palette for a canvas and work out how much of each you'll need.
Stitch guidance
Choosing stitches is half the pleasure and most of the difficulty. Bring the canvas in and we'll go through it with you.
Finishing
A stitched canvas isn't done until it's made up into something — a pillow, an ornament, a stocking. We arrange finishing.
Thursdays, 12–2pm
Stitching Studio
A standing needlepoint session every Thursday afternoon. Bring whatever you're working on, get help where you're stuck, and sit with people doing the same.
One to one
Private lessons
$45 an hour, arranged around your schedule — useful for a first canvas, or for a technique you'd rather not learn from a diagram.
